Eric is the architect of the company’s risk management infrastructure enabling Lighthouse Property Insurance Corporation (Lighthouse) to make the necessary risk-reward decisions for maximizing value creation and achieving the proper risk-management balance. This disciplined growth strategy also balances staying relevant to customers while remaining attractive to investors. Eric is delightfully quick-witted and has a flair for communication. With over 30 years of insurance and risk management experience, Eric works closely with the C.E.O., executive team, and the board to shape the future of the Lighthouse Enterprise. In 2009, he joined Prepared Insurance Company as Chief Operating Officer & Chief Risk Officer before being appointed President & Chief Executive Officer in 2011. Previously, he served as Senior Director at Risk Management Solutions and in various roles with John Deere Insurance and RLI Corp.

As Chief Risk Officer of Lighthouse, Eric engages in the most difficult decisions, providing leadership with perspectives and guidance on strategic business risks attributing to sustainable growth. He received a B.A. in Accounting and Finance from St. Ambrose University and holds numerous Insurance Institute designations.
